Photography Tours in Israel

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between your photo tours and an ordinary tour where I bring my camera?
A: We concentrate on the photo first and help you to get the best shots. We design our tours with photographs in mind, taking into account the direction of light at different times of day - and we find the best viewpoints. This attention to detail will make a huge difference to your photography results as we take into consideration these points when arranging your tour.

Q : What type of camera gear do I need to bring?
A: We recomend you to bring at least a semi-pro or a semi-manual camera but you can have any type camera and lens(es). We are catering for travelers that have an interest in photography and want to improve their photography skills while traveling. The intention is the important thing.

Q : Can you review my photos ?
A: Yes, we can review your photos (assuming they are digital) at the time of the tour and we can give you advice on how to improve on them (or compliment you on good work done).

Q: What is your payment policy?
A: An 25% non-refundable deposit is made at the time of the booking. The remaining balance, which is required before the tour begins, is refundable if cancellation is six or less days prior to start of tour.

Q: What is included in the photo tour?
The photo tour will include transport costs and a full day touring with photographer Rafael Ben-Ari. Entrance fees and lunch are not included in the price. There are many delicious authentic places to eat in Israel which we can arrange to stop at, or if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own lunch.

Q: What transport do we use for the tours?
A: We use our feet when we can. For longer distance tours we will travel by car. Such transport costs will be included in the price.

Q: Can I bring a non-photographer partner?
A: It would not be advisable as these are one-on-one tours and to learn the most without being distracted, it is advisable to come without a partner. If this is unavoidable then please make arrangements with Rafael beforehand.
